I have reviewed the proposal, Additions and Remodeling to Elk River Ice
Arena, and would like to take this opportunity to express my support for
the arena.

The proposal includes: a new enclosed olympic size ice arena added to the
existing facility, an increased parking lot, new locker rooms and an
expanded lobby and concessions area, to name a few. The new facility
would enable the community to provide state of the art facilities for
hockey programs, figure skating programs and other sporting events.
As you are probably aware, Elk River, as well as all of Sherburne and
Wright Counties, are experiencing rapid growth. The demands for

I strongly support the proposal. In my opinion, the community of Elk
River would greatly benefit from the new, improved facility. I hope you
take this under your consideration and recommend that Elk River be
