Consider School Small Theater Proposal
ITEM 4.5.
Dr. Jenson has advised me that the School Board discussed the small theater options at its
September 11, 2001 meeting. Dr. Jenson will be at our City Council meeting to present the
general consensus from the School Board discussion. Administrator of Community
Education, Charlie Blesener, will also be in attendance at this meeting to discuss use and
scheduling issues. Nothing is attached to this memo by way of additional background
information.
In brief, the proposal looks at five equal payments over five years with no interest and the
first payment being as soon as possible in 2001; each additional payment being 12 months
thereafter ($112,600 x 5 = $563,000). The "use agreement" is something that would need to
be worked on and finalized at a later date.
