SUBJECT: School Consensus Committee
INTRODUCTION:
The School Board has requested the council to appoint two Elk River
representatives to the School Consensus Committee
BACKGROUND:
On November 20, 1995, the city council voted to appoint Lee Ecklund to the
• School Consensus Committee. The council has one more appointment to
make to the committee. It was indicated that the council would provide some
names to be considered for appointment to the committee.
Bob Minton has indicated that he would be interested on serving on the
committee. Bob Minton currently serves on the Planning Commission and is
the chair of the Steering Committee for the Comprehensive Plan.
Dr. Flannery has requested that the Council make this appointment as soon
as possible because the first meeting of the School Consensus Committee will
be held on December 14.
ACTION REQUESTED:
Appointment of one Elk River resident to the School Consensus Committee
