Call Meeting To Order Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Elk River Board of Appeal and Equalization was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Mayor Klinzing. 2. Board of Appeal and Eoualization -Decision on appeals from recessed meeting ofApril2&, 2010 1. Grace Ostien, Parcel Identification Number 75-117-4007 Mr. Kritzeck presented the handouts for both parcels. MOVED BY COUNCILMEMBER ZERWAS AND SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER WESTGAARD TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION TO AGRICULTURAL AND TO INCREASE THE LAND VALUE BY $15,300. MOTION CARRIED 5-0. Thomas and Sata Hartman, Parcel Identification Number 75-597-0110 Ron Touchette, agent for Mr. and Mrs. Hartman, requested further reductions in this parcel than what he asked for at the previous meeting. He reviewed values of surrounding properties. Mr. I{ritzeck reviewed a handout and the meeting minutes from the April 28, 2010 Board of Appeal meeting and noted Mr. Touchette requested the value be at $2.83 per square foot to be consistent with the adjacent property. Paul Heinen and April Westgaard, Parcel Identification Number 75-111-2100 Councilmember Westgaard excused himself from discussion on this item as he is related to appellant. Ms. Henderson presented the handout. Ms. Henderson stated the property owner hasn't shown any documentation to show an agricultural use of the property.
