Data collected by HousingLink. In Q1 of 2010, foreclosures in Minnesota reached the highest period in the past six quarters, with 6,716 foreclosures. This total was only exceeded in Q2 and Q3 of 2008, when there were 7,349 and 6,807 foreclosures respectively. The Q1 2010 number was up nearly 11 percent over the previous quarter, and 28 percent over the same period last year, continuing a four quarter trend of increasing foreclosures.
