Update on City Hall Turf Grass
The turf grass at City Hall has suffered much this summer with irrigation system failures,
prolonged dry spells and weed infestation. We have started the rehabilitation process with a
herbicide application on August 23, 2001 and over-seeding on September 6, 2001. We plan
to spread fertilizer on the area by September 14, 2001 and the final step will be another
herbicide application in mid-October.
The grass should show much improvement yet this fall and continued application of
herbicides and fertilizer in the spring 2002 will give us a much better lawn in the future.
