Power Su ply Options /Resource Plannin Update
BACKGROUND:
In April 2010, the Utilities Commission authorized entering into "Phase 1" of a resource
planning study with a coalition which includes Central Minnesota Municipal Power Agency
(CMMPA) as a partic_pant.
DISCUSSION:
The Resource Planning Coalition held a conference call on May 24`h. During this call, the
Resource Planning Coalition Confidentiality Agreement was delayed approval to allow for the
participant's to conduct independent legal review. Also determined during this call were the
participant's representatives which will serve on the Resource Planning Coalition Committee.
The next scheduled meeting is June 7`s.
