As many of you may akeady know, I have accepted the position of Community Services
Director with the City of Santee, California and this will be my last Parks and Recreation
Commission meeting here in Elk River. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the
past and present members of the Parks and Recreation Commission for their service to the
community and to express my heartfelt appreciation for having the opportunity to work with
such a great group of people.
In the six years that I have had the honor of working for the citizens of Elk River the Pazks
and Recreation Commission has been an integral pan of everything that has been
accomplished. I know with a great group of Commissioners and a great staff that the Parks
and Recreation Department will continue to provide great parks, programs and community
events.
