SUBJECT: Major Park Use -Use of Woodland Trails for a High School
Cross County Conference Championship Meet
Request
The Elk River High School has requested the use of Woodland Trails Park on Wednesday,
October 13th to hold a cross country conference championship meet. The rental period
would run from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m. They expect approximately 1,000 - 2,000 people to attend
the event.
Information foryour consideration
• This is a resident group.
Staff Recommendations
• All facility rental fees be waived.
• The Parks and Recreation Department provide trash cans for the event.
• The group will be required to provide additional portable toilets at the group's
expense as needed.
