Action Requested
A Council motion to approve the following temporary sales and storage of fireworks licenses:
Applicant Location Conditions
TNT Fireworks Walmart arkin lot N/A
Renaissance Fireworks Menards arkin lot N/A
Renaissance Fireworks Cub Foods arkin lot N/A
Quentin Nelson Vacant lot at 18130 Zane St NW Area on and around the location of
the sales tent shall be mowed. A
buffer area around the tent of 25-feet
shall also be mowed.
Background/Discussion
The applicants have submitted all the necessary application materials required for this license.
Background checks have been completed by the police department and the fire marshal has reviewed the
site plans.
General planning permits from the planning department are also required in order to conduct sales from
the temporary tents. The above requests have been reviewed and approved by the Site Plan Review
Committee. All tents are required to be removed no later than July 11, 2010.
