Action Requested
Motion to approve a commercial kennel license to Nora and Bob McLaughlin DBA Rin Tin Inn Kennel,
LLC contingent upon receipt of proper worker's compensation insurance.
Background/Discussion
Nora and Bob McLaughlin DBA Rin Tin Inn Kennel, LLC have made application fox a commercial
kennel license to be located at 11631 219`" Ave NW. Mr. and Mrs. McLaughlin are new owners of the
kennel which was previously run by Dana and Rich LaFavor. A conditional use permit (CUP) is required
for this license and was approved as part of the previous owner's application process.
The applicants have submitted all the necessary application materials and fees. The police department
conducted a kennel inspection and the kennel meets the city's requirements. Kennels are inspected on a
yearly basis prior to renewal of the license to ensure that the applicant is meeting the requirements of the
ordinance relating to commercial kennels.
