Council motion for the following:
1. Call special Council meeting for Monday, June 28, 2010, 6:30 p.m. to discuss regular city business.
2. Cancel Tuesday, July 6, 2010 regular Council meeting.
3. Call special joint meeting with Sherburne County Board of Commissioners for Tuesday, August
10, 2010, 9:00 a.m.
Background/Discussion
With the Independence Day holiday and many people out of town for vacations, the Council is requested
to cancel their regularly scheduled July 6 meeting.
A special meeting has been called for June 28, 2010 to discuss the engineering improvement projects but
with the cancellation of the July 6 meeting, a special meeting should also be called to discuss regular city
business.
Council directed staff to set up a joint meeting with the Sherburne County Board of Commissioners. The
County has suggested August 10 at 9:00 a.m. It should be noted this is the date of the primary election.
