SUBJECT: Consider MnDOT Highway 10 (East) Frontage Road Proposal
City Engineer Terry Maurer has received some written correspondence from MnDOT
regarding options for the continuation of the East Highway 10 frontage road north of the
Scott Powdl development. One option is a simple connection to the existing road; another
option is a rerouted connection to the AmericInn entrance/exit connection to Highway 10.
This rerouted frontage road and connection includes the requirement of closing the
Highway 10 access. Both options require the closing of the median.
Terry will have a more complete report for the Council on Monday, October 8, 2001.
