SUBJECT: Facility Use Changes
We would like to propose the following changes to our Indoor Facility Use Policy
All Indoor Facile Use
Under General Rules, the policy reads: "~f7. Use of candles or any open flame is prohibited unless
approved in writing."
Proposed change: "#7. Use of candles or any open flame is prohibited."
Trott Brook Farm Barn
Currently, the policy requires building supervision for all uses. We have found that since we have
little equipment in the facility and it is a small space, building supervision is not needed.
Proposed change: No building supervision would be needed. Renters would be able to check out a
key up to one business day prior to their use and would need to return it within one business day
after their use to the business office. Late returns would be charged $25/day which would be
deducted from their deposit. Fees would remain the same.
Program Facility (formerl~porium~
This facility has not been available for rental in the past. Now that the improvements are complete,
this facility is a nice space and would work well for small meetings or gatherings and we would like
to see it used as much as possible. Legal capacity is 126 but we'd like to limit rentals to 75 people.
Tables and chairs would be available for this size group but no other equipment would be available.
