SUBJECT: Major' Park Use -Use of Lions Park for a Benefit Carnival

Sarah Hamlin with Community Chest has requested the use of Lions Park on Sunday,
August I5`k to hold a benefit carnival. The rental period would run from 10:00 a.m. -
4:00 p.m. The group plans to hold activities including carnival games, an inflatable bounce,
and food vendors. The event will be open to the community.
Information for your consideration
• This is a resident group.
Staff Recommendations
All facility rental fees be waived.
The Parks and Recreation Department provide trash cans for the event.
The group will be required to provide additional portable toilets at the groups'
expense as needed.
