Council motion to call a special meeting for Friday, August 13, 2010, at time.
Background/Discussion
Per a new state law this year the city is required to canvass the results of the Primary Election on the third
day after the primary. Therefore, the Council, acting as the Canvassing Board, needs to schedule a special
meeting for Friday, August 13, 2010. The Board should determine a time that works best for their
schedules.
