SUBJECT: Transient Merchant License- Rapid Sport Marine Center
REQUEST
Transient merchant license to hold a four-day sale to sell Lund and Larson boats in the Wal-
mart parking lot.
APPLICANT

BACKGROUND
Rapid Sport Marine Center is requesting a transient merchant license to hold a four-day boat
sale. The sale will take place at the Wal-mart parking lot from June 5 through June 8. The
applicant has also applied for a general planning permit. The applicant has successfully
passed the required background check and written consent has been provided by Wal-mart
for this sale.
ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion approving a transient merchant license for Rapid Sport Marine Center to
hold a sale from June 4 through June 8 at the Wal-mart parking lot in the City of Elk River.
