ORD 10-10• • • ORDINANCE 10 -10 CITY OF ELK RIVER AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER AMENDING SECTION 30 -876 OF THE CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES RELATING TO SIGNAGE IN THE COMMERCIAL RESERVE TRANSITION AREA The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows: Section 1. That Section 30 -876 titled CRT Commercial Reserve Transitional district of Elk River City Code shall be amended to read as follows: Sec. 30 -876. CRT commercial reserve transition district. a) Temporary signs as permitted in section 30 -851 et seq. b) Permanent signs. 1) One freestanding sign, not to exceed 150 square feet with a maximum height of 30 feet. 2) Three wall signs, not to exceed 300 square feet per occupancy. c) Event sponsor signs, a sign subordinate to a principal use intended for the display of information for onsite patrons, shall be allowed if they meet the following criteria: 1) An approved Interim Use Permit has been obtained for the property 2) A sign plan shall be approved by City staff 3) Property shall be larger than 20 acres 4) Not to exceed 32 square feet 5) Must be one sided only 6) Shall be setback 10 feet from12roperty line 7) Shall be setback 25 feet from right -of -ways 8) Shall face away from right -of -ways 9) Shall not exceed 6 feet in height 10) Shall not be illuminated Section 2.
