ACTION REQUESTED
Council motion approving a pyrotechnic fireworks display license for RES Specialty Pyrotechnics, Inc. to
conduct a pyrotechnic display at Elk River High School during football games on September 2,
September 17, October 1, and October 15.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
RES Specialty Pyrotechnics, Inc. has applied fox a pyrotechnic display license in order to light a large
fireworks display during Elk River High School football games. The dates of the firework displays are:

^ September 17
^ October 1
^ October 15
The Fireworks Operator Certification has been verified with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The fire department has reviewed and approved the site plan.
