Action Requested
Approval of the following licenses for the Fire Department Dance on September 18, 2010:
1. Temporary 3.2. percent malt liquor license to the Elk River Lions contingent upon
receipt of a certificate of insurance.
2. Temporary on-sale liquor license for a community event to McCoy Restaurants Inc.
d/b/a McCoy's Pub
Background/Discussion
The Elk River Lions and McCoy's Pub have applied for these licenses for the Elk River Fire Department
Dance, which will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the Elk River Fire Station #1 (415 Jackson
Avenue). Alcohol will be served from approximately 7:00 p.m. unti111:00 p.m.
