July 8, 2003
Dear Collogues,
It is with mixed emotions that I must submit my resignation as Planning Commissioner
effective Wednesday July 9th' Due to personal reasons my family and I will be relocating
outside the city of Elk River. I have enjoyed my tenure as Planning Commissioner, and
hope I was able to contribute positively to the bright future of Elk River. I want to thank
the City Council for their confidence in appointing me as Planning Commissioner, and
for the patients and support of the city staff in guiding me through the "ins and outs" of
city code and planning. To the remaining Planning Commissioners I can only wish you
the best of luck in continuing to make Elk River a great place to live.
