SUBJECT: County Road 40 Right-of-Way
At the June 23, 2003 meeting, an update was provided on the city-county transportation issues.
During the review of the County Road 40 project, it was noted by Mayor I~dinzing that she and
County Commissioner Engstrom were planning to meet with some of the property owners to
discuss the possible dedication of right-of-way.
Recently, Mayor F-dinzing had a conversation with County Engineer Dave Schwarting regarding
urban versus rural road standards and road ahgnment issues. Mayor K2inzing would like to update
the Council on the status of the discussions with property owners and the County Engineer.
Feedback from the city is necessary in order to determine the best road alignment and approach for
trying to obtain right-of-way.
