1. Mayor Klinzing to present the length of service award to Mr. Trunnell.
2. Council motion proclaiming Tuesday, November 2, 2010 as Mike Trunnell Day.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Mr. Trunnell joined the Elk River Fire Department on November 1, 1980. Over the course of his thirty
year career with the fire department, Mike served as Captain and Assistant Chief. He also led the
department's training division. He has obtained a number of certifications and is one of the few trained
and certified as a lead instructor.
In addition to celebrating Mike's thirty years of service, please join me in wishing him a healthy and
bright future as he will be retiring on November 2, 2010.
