SUBJECT: ENVIRONMENTAL AND
CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Staff is please to announce that we have a strong recommendation for the
position of Environmental and Code Enforcement Officer. This position is a
replacement for Kendra Lindahl.
Staff is recommending the City hire Mr. Greg Berg. Greg is a graduate of St.
Cloud State University with a Bachelor degree in Industrial Studies with an
Environmental Emphasis. For more than the last two years, Greg has
worked for the DNR. Greg's education and work experience should allow him
to be used for a variety of environmental issues.
Staff is recommending Greg be hired at pay grade "8", step "D" which is
$11.05/hour. Normally we would have liked to hire at a step "C", but we
needed to counter another job offer Greg had. We further recommend Greg's
orientation period expire on July 1st, 1997, at which time he will be eligible
for a step increase.
