Council motion approving the following licenses to Northern Tier Retail LLC for the SuperAmerica
locations at 17079 Yale Court, 200 Main Street, and 11554 193`d Avenue:
1. Off-Sale 3.2 percent malt liquor license valid November 1, 2010 through June 30, 2011.
2. Tobacco licenses valid November 1, 2010 through December 31, 2011.
ackround/ iscussion
The three SuperAmerica locations in Elk River are changing to a new corporate owner, Northern Tier
Retails LLC. The new owners have applied for 3.2. percent off-sale malt liquor and tobacco licenses for
the following three locations:
° SuperAmerica #4196, 17079 Yale Court
° SuperAmerica #4338, 200 Main Street
° SuperAmerica #4470, 11554 193x`' Avenue
All application materials have been received and background checks have been completed. At this time,
the applicant has indicated that the day to day operations, including employees and managers, will remain
the same.
