Residential Lot Inventory Update
Attached is a lot inventory of active residential developments that have been
approved since 1989. This lists helps summarize the building activity that is
occurring in each of the subdivisions since they have been final platted and
ready for construction. Once a project is "built out", it is removed from this
list. Therefore, projects such as Country Crossing Townhomes 1st and 2nd
are not listed because every lot has been developed.
Based on the number of single family building permits issued last year, a
current inventory of available vacant lots is approximately 1-1/2 years
supply. It should be noted the column listed "Lots Developed" merely
indicates a building permit has been issued on a particular lot. The new
construction may be for a recent purchase by a home buyer or, the builder is
constructing a model which has not yet been sold.
