National Conference
**ITEM 3.3.**
The city has a policy whereby the City Council reviews and approves the
attendance at all national conferences for staff, commissioners, or council.
My national conference is in September, but hotel registration takes place in
April. The 1997 International City Management Association (ICMA)
conference is in Vancouver. The cost for attendance at this conference is in
the approved 1997 administration budget.
Action Requested
It is requested that the City Council approve the City Administrator's
attendance at the 1997 ICMA Conference.
