1. Call Meeting To Oxdex
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the meeting of the Economic Development
Authority- was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by President Touchette.
2. Consider Agenda
MOVED BY COMMISSIONER KLINZING AND SECONDED BY
COMMISSIONER WESTGAARD TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 11, 2010 EDA
AGENDA. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.
3. Consider Consent Agenda
MOVED BY COMMISSIONER MOTIN AND SECONDED BY
COMMISSIONER ZERWAS TO APPROVE THE CONSENT AGENDA AS
FOLLOWS:
3.1. AUGUST 9, 2010 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES AS AMENDED

~. Consider Resolution Authorizine Transfer from the EDA DTED Fund to the Micro Loan
Fund
bls. Mehelich presented hex staff report.
MOVED BY COMMISSIONER ZERWAS AND SECONDED BY
COMMISSIONER KLINZING TO ADOPT RESOLUTION 10-OS
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $214,493.16 FROM THE EDA DIED
FUND TO THE MICRO LOAN FUND. MOTION CARRIED 6-0.

6. Focused Area Study Implementation Update
Ms. Mehelich presented the staff report. She stated that there may be a special joint
EDA/CouncIl discussion on future implementation steps.
President Touchette questioned if staff has received any further comments from affected
landowners. Ms. Mehelich stated that staff has not.
Marketing Updates
Ms. Deckers xeciewed her staff report.
8. Other Business
Ms. Mehelich distributed hex executive director's report
President Touchette stated that it was nice to see Project Conserve on the front page of the
Star News. He also stated that the City CouncIl will be discussing the visioning and goals and
he would like to see the EDA begin discussions on how to make the city's brand known.
