Dear Pat:
I am very aware that out of courtesy, notes of thanks such as this should immediately follow a
presentation. I can only ask your understanding for my observing some work priorities that
had pressing deadlines. The timing makes the message no less sincere, however!
We want to thank all who participated in the State of the City program on March 18. I heard
many positive comments from those attending, This is a well-liked format with our
membership, enabling them to get a pretty complete picture of what's currently happening "at
the City", as well as providing some outlooks on the future. It is also viewed as a positive in
the ongoing relationship between the City and Chamber.
Please pass along our thanks to Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Father, Holmgren
and Thompson, Paul Steinman and Chief Zerwas. We appreciate their willingness to give us
an evening to keep us informed.
