Redesigning Behind Front Desk -
Public Works will be coming to remove the old shelving on October ls`
Lefebvre's Carpet will be installing new carpeting on October 3`d.
Shelving has been ordered and will be on hold until we call that the carpet
installation has been completed. In the meantime we will be using book carts to
store books being held for patrons.
Review of Contract -
The city of Elk River is looking for input from the library board on the contract
with GRRL.
New Business
Library Board Resignations -Two board members have had to resign from the
library board; one for health reasons and the other because of a new job that
requires her to work on Tuesday evenings. If you know of anyone interested in
applying please let me know, I'll have applications on hand or they can pick them
up at city hall. The board will need to designate a new secretary.
M.L.A. -Eight people from Elk River will be attending M.L.A. on Thursday,
September.
