Treasurer's Report:
E. Holm reported that she and Librarian M. Stoffers met with Pat Klaers, City Administrator and Lori Johnson
to discuss the budget. Holm reports the meeting went well; M. Stoffers will report more fully at a future board
meeting.
E. Holm moved that the May report be accepted, seconded by L. Anderson. Approved unanimously.
Old Business:
PAC furniture costs will be discussed at a future meeting.
New Business:
~Olotion detectors will be installed. Board members discussed the deterrent factor for further vandalism. Though
the lights cannot prevent vandalism, they serve as a warning that the library is being watched more carefully.
,/Ys of this date, the draperies have not been installed.
Members present welcomed Joanne Jacobs. We are very pleased to have a new member and it is anticipated
that we will be able to make a quorum on a regular basis.
Vern Oleksowicz answered Joanne Jacobs' inquiry about GRRL. He also discussed:
1. Summer program. Wolfin Down Books is a state wide program for ages 3-12.
2. Legislative session. Budget will likely keep up with costs with a slight inflationary increase.
3. Director for GRRL. No one hired yet. Have been without director for one year. Candidate offered position
turned it down. Position will be advertised in July.
Meeting adjourned by unanimous agreement.
Respectfully submitted for G. Graham,
Leslie Anderson, Vice Chair
