Librarian's report by Mick Stoffers:
Old Business: New shelving has been ordered. Clock repair is in process. New fiberglass
ladder has been ordered. New directional signs have been installed. Nearly all repairs required by
recent fire code inspection are complete; fire extinguisher signs have been ordered and will be
installed as soon as they arrive. New marker board has been installed in community room. Graham
gave the librarian an acknowledgement sign to install on the new microfilm reader/printer to
recognize financial donors. Graham has made some contacts with local newspaper to pursue news
article about the library -- hoping to coordinate with National Libraries Week in April.

allocate this year's budget monies (originally designated for purchase of microfilm reader/printer,
which was purchased through private sector donations) for purchase of needed storage and shelving
equipment.
Oleksowicz reported that GRRL is preparing Public Service Announcements for local media to
announce new policy of using collection agency to help retrieve overdue materials and collect
payment for unreturned materials. Additionally, when GRRL issues the second overdue notice, a
notation about the use of the collection agency is included.
He also reported the GRRL recently received special funds that will be used to furnish each
