Old Business
Signs - Example of borders and lettering for signs.
Microfilm Reader/Printer - Demonstration on use of new microfilm
reader/printer. Discussion on disposal of old reader/printer.
Clock Repair - I've contacted two clock repair shops. I'll have information
on what it will cost to repair the clock at the front desk.
Mat For The Workroom - I've ordered a new mat for the staff area and it
was installed a week ago.
New Business
Fire Inspection - The fire inspection has been completed and I have a list
of items we need to address.
New signs above fire extinguishers.
Address numbers on the sign outside the building.
The coat rack and chalkboard are blocking fire exits.
Repair ceiling emergency lighting (called Steve Horvath)
Two emergency exit signs need the lights repaired.
✓ Need a security system test dated and on file. (called Steve at E.R utilities)

✓ Put child proof caps on all outlets. (purchased and installed)
Issues Sue has already addressed;
✓ Replaced ceiling fan cover and ceiling tile in the public restrooms.
✓ Greased the fire exit in the community room and replaced the battery.
✓ Removed items on shelves within two feet of the ceiling.
✓ Great River Regional Library replaced the extention cords on the
computers.
Order Shelving - We have money set aside in this years budget for new
shelving; a full range in the adult section and a section for the magazine area.
Discuss contacting Library Bureau.
Marker Board For The Community Room - I've researched what it
would cost to replace the old chalkboard in the community room with a
marker board.
Ladder - We need to purchase a new ladder for the library, the old one
is unsafe.
