S: \94103\I'U N CH LST.DOC of River September 20, 1994 Mick Stoffers Elk River Public Library 413 Proctor Avenue Elk River, MN 55330 Dear Mick: Last year you requested that our insurance agent provide a quote for glass coverage at the Library. We had previously dropped the coverage due to the high cost. Last year, when the City insured the glass at the City Hall, we found the rates to be very reasonable and thought that the same may apply to the Library. However, because of the types and sizes of glass at the Library, the rates were still very high. My notes indicate that glass coverage for the Library is $2,698. Since our insurance renewal is effective on October 1, I though it may be appropriate to again get a response from you as to whether or not you wanted coverage. In March you indicated that you did not want coverage; I will assume that you still do not want coverage. If you do want coverage, please contact either me or Dan Greene so that the appropriate application form can be signed. I have one other question regarding insurance. Since the books at the Library are all owned by Great River Regional, I would expect that Great River carries insurance on all of the books inside the Library. If that is not the case, please notify me so that we can adjust our policy to reflect the appropriate value of all of the written materials you currently have.
