Meeting was called tv order at 6:3C p.m. by Chair Vicki 5uiiivan.
Rick Wesslin?. of Eu5 Architecture. analvzetl for the Board
construction estimates versus actual costs far our addition -
and remodetinc pro.iect. in totat. the oreliminarv~estimates
totalled 5543.3CC. The actual construction wilt total 5530.000,
unless something unforeseen occurs between nqw and the completion.
The E3U.CGC. which was put into construction contingency fund, or
any Dart thereof that is Left over, wit? be usetl for furnishings.
Rick also went over with the 6oartl the Con Structivn Contract
Adjustments that have already occurred. and those that have
been proposed. The Irrigation system is one area where the
estimate received from KUE seems way too bleb. We will check
with the City to see if they could do this. After going through the
Proposal Requests, and after discussion. John moved that we accent a71
vropasal requests with #8 chanced to alt sides gffront counter. k9
changed to "oat to er.ceed 5175G". and #3 amended to adding power
tv the outside sign, no new heads on the exis*_ing lights (but reol ace
the lamtist. and add one new Dole on the east. Motion aparaved.
The Larpet has been delayed because of a miscommnni[ation with the
fiactory. It wilt he milled antl shipped the beginning of October,
with a target date of October 15 to tre down on the floor.
Mimites from the August meeting and the September bill list were
reviewed and aooroved.
The board reviewed fence tine improvements submitted by Fhii Ha15.
A recent citi.en complaint led the Citv Council tq direct the street
Department to reol ace the broken wood pests that support the chain
link fence. A proposal from the City was received. After
discu55ion.we decided that we definitely need to take some action
to improve the fence and surrounding area. Milk will check with
Rick to see if Some of these items can 6e cut into aw addition
oroiect. since they are doing landscape and irrigation projects.
Mick will see if Rice and Phil can caeeerate on this vro.iect.
Mick will order sheivin. that is stilt in this year's 6utlget. so
it can arrive sometime around November I to put up in the addition.
She a?so mentioned that when the air conditioner was repaired last
month, there were many er.tra wires that arene longer used and need
to 6e removed to facilitate work. on the existing wires. We asketl
her to check with Y.UE to see if that can be done by them.
