SUBJECT: Major Park Use -Use of Woodland Trails Park for a High
School Cross County Conference Championship Meet
Re uest
The Elk River High School has requested the use of Woodland Trails Park on Thursday,
October 13'" 2011 to hold a cross country conference championship meet. The rental
period would run from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. They expect approximately 1,000 - 2,000 people to
attend the event.
Information for your consideration
• This is a resident group.
Staff Recommendations
Event be approved with the following guidelines:
• All facility rental fees be waived.
• The Parks and Recreation Department provide trash cans for the event.
• The group will be required to provide additional portable to$ets at the group's
expense as needed.
