SUBJECT: Special Meeting Dates
No City Council meeting is currently scheduled for the week of May 26, 1997,
as Monday, May 26th is observed as the Memorial Day holiday.
I need the City Council to consider a special meeting some time soon to
review the draft Capital Improvement Program. Additionally I need the City
Council to provide staff with a number of possible dates for a MnDOT
meeting and tour of the city. Finally, I need the City Council to consider a
special meeting date with the Park and Recreation Commission to review the
Community Survey results and a possible Park and Recreation public bond
referendum. It is possible that in lieu of a special meeting for the Park and
Recreation issue we could reserve the first hour - hour and one half of the
Monday, June 2, 1997, meeting for this discussion if it works out for the
Commission members and the Decision Resources representatives.
Please bring your calendar to this meeting so that we can, at a minimum, set
up a CIP meeting date and have some dates available for MnDOT to consider
for our annual tour of the city.
