Council motion appointing a cable monit r to run with the term of the Councilmember.

BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
The Sherburne Wright Cable Commissio will pay for up to two city representatives to have cable service
in Elk River for the purpose of monito ' g channels and reporting problems to Charter Communications.

FINANCIAL IMPACT
The Cable Commission provides basic and expanded cable video services for the cable monitors to
complete the duties listed above. The Commission makes a yearly payment to Charter Communications
for all of the cable monitors of member cities. Internet, phone service, and/or premium channel service
are not included and will be billed to the cable monitor on a monthly basis by Charter Communications.
