Set date for visioning follow-up meeting with Jermaine Davis.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
At the January 10 worksession, the Council will review the action steps developed by staff and boards and
commissions that they feel will help the city achieve the four goals approved by the Council as part of the
visioning and goals process. Additionally, the Council requested to be part of the follow-up meeting with
Jermaine Davis. Mr. Davis has proposed two dates, February 14 or 22, to meet with the City Council and
all the staff who participated in the initial meetings. The follow-up session is planned to be a four-hour
session. On the 14`h the EDA will be meeting prior to the worksession and on the 22nd the regular
Council meeting would take place first to accommodate regular business and planning items. We will
need to rearrange those schedules slightly in order to accommodate this four-hour meeting. As of this
time, no planning items have been submitted for the February 22 meeting and the submittal deadline is
this week.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
This meeting was included in the original agreement with Mr. Davis that was previously approved by the
City Council.
