A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
S.A.P. 204-132-01 FROM TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 10
TO 600 METERS EAST
IN THE CITY OF ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
THIS RESOI,UTION, passed this 29th day of Jul),, 1996~ by the City of Elk River in Sherburne
Count),, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City",
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City has planned the improvement of MSAS 132 (171st Avenue) from Trunk
Highway No. 10 to 600 Meters East, and
WHEREAS, the City xvill be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the improvement of this
street, and
WHEREAS,
this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the
street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street
project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
That the City shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of MSAS 132 (171st
Avenue) at all times.
