SUBJECT: River Park School Site
Staff has held discussions with school district staff regarding the addition of a warming
house to the new school in east Elk River. District staff is preparing cost estimates for a
1200 square foot warming house.
With two soccer fields, a softball field, and potentially a rink and warming house, this site
can become a significant recreational resource. The district has budgeted for a minimal
playground structure at the site and staff is exploring the option of collaborating with the
district to build a more substantial play area.
