MEMORANDUM

DATE: October 6, 2005
SUBJECT: Staff Report
Hot Topic(s) of the Month
We are gearing up for a Dodgeball Tournament and League. Ross has been hard at work on
this program and we've had a wonderful response. It is a classic game making a comeback
with both children and adults.
We are also in the process of ordering Discs for the Disc Golf game and will have kits
available for use at the front counter whenever we are open. This game can be played year-
round. We have a lot of middle and high school youth hanging around the building and
thought this might be a great activity to keep them busy.
September Programs
Programs running in the month of September include Yoga, Yogilates, Cardio Sculpt
Xpress, Kickboxing Circuit, 50/50, Step, Girl Power, Firearm Safety, BLAST, Parent and
Tot Tumbling, Preschool Tumbling, Parent and Tot Open Playtime, Cheer America, Young
Americans Self Defense, Eager Elks Soccer, Eager Elks Sports Sampler, Kids Cardio, Arena
Dance, Women's Volleyball, and Co Rec Volleyball.
Facility Use
We reserved 230 hours of ball field use, 65 hours of shelter use, 59 hours of indoor facility
use, and 198 hours of soccer field use for the month of September.
Wellness Committee
We are taking sign ups for donating blood on the 28`h of October. This is our third annual
