No Parking Signs on East Side of Holt
Avenue Between 3rd Street and 4th
Street
Staff has a concern regarding the congestion caused by parked cars on Holt
Avenue between 3ra and 4th Street. Holt Avenue is 32 feet wide so the
present parking only allows 16 feet for traffic and with snow banks in the
winter, the traffic lanes become even narrower.
Fire Chief Bruce West has been in contact with Dr. Lee Rock of the Mork
Clinic and Dr. Rock is in agreement with posting the east side No Parking.
Action Requested
Police Chief Zerwas, Fire Chief West, and I request that the City Council
authorize posting of No Parking signs on the east side of Holt Avenue from
3ra to 4th Streets.
