Council motion calling a special meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 5:30 p.m.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
A visioning and goals follow-up session with Jermaine Davis is scheduled during the February 22, 2011
City Council meeting. This session is anticipated to be four hours in length. Due to the length of the
follow-up session and other regular business items on the agenda, staff is requesting the Council consider
calling a special meeting to change the time of the February 22 meeting to 5:30 p.m.

I, John J. Dietz, Mayor, hereby request a special meeting of the Elk River City Council on
Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at 5:30 p.m., Elk River City Hall, 13065 Orono Parkway,
Elk River, Minnesota.
The purpose of the meeting is to change the time of the regularly scheduled City Council
meeting.
In accordance with State Statute, I hereby request the city clerk to post this notice at least
three days prior to the scheduled meeting date. I further request the city clerk to notify each
member of the Ciry Council of the special meeting, in writing, at least one day before the
meeting.
