Overview
The Commission is being provided information on the proposed changes to the interior of
Lions Park Center.
As a result of the hiring of a Parks and Recreation Director and subsequent reorganization
of staff, staff has put together a remodel plan of Lions Park Center to accommodate these
changes.
The current open office space is being expanded with the addition of one private office. An
employee break room/conference room is being added in the location of the existing
restrooms near the covered shelter. The current serving/storage azea will be converted into
storage space that was lost from the office space expansion.
Schedule of Review & Improvements
Staff is currently obtaining quotes to complete the work The Lions Club will be given an
update on the Lions ParWLions Park Center changes at their February 17, 2004 meeting.
The Council will consider them on February 23, 2004. Work is slated to begin shortly
thereafter with a completion date of June 1, 2004.
