Adopt the attached HRA Regular Meeting Schedule for Year 2011
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
State law states the following:
~3D.04 Notice of Meetings
Subdivision ~. Kegular Meetings. A schedule of the regular meetings of a public body shall be kept on file at its
primary offices. If a public body deczdes to hold a regular meeting at a time or place different from the time or place
stated in its schedule of regular meetings, it shallgive the same notice of the meeting that is provided in this section for a
regular meeting.
The Information Policy & Analyst Division of the MN Dept of Administration is recommending that a
public body set the regular schedule for its meetings and to maintain this list on file at its first meeting of
the year (or last meeting of the year prior, similar to what the City Council does). Even though a meeting
may be cancelled during the year, this blanket statement covers the City's requirements for posting. An
entire list of meetings for boards and commissions will be posted at City Hall.
