Thank you and I look forward to seeing you on March 16, 2011! The Energy City Expo recently took place on March 5s'. Over 600 people were in attendance this year. Attendees were able to see and meet Ron Schaza, take pazt in carnival games, learn from 32 exhibitors, and enjoy food courtesy of various vendors. Exhibitor surveys received thus far have been overwhelmingly positive. It appears that we have hosted another successful Energy Expo! Special thanks go out to all those who helped and/or volunteered at any time throughout the process. Project Conserve Phase II is currently nearing the midway point Thus far, we have conducted )8 in-home energy audits and were recently nominated fora 2011Environxnental Initiative Award. Our third workshop is set to take place on April Ss', T", and 9'~ at City- Hall. We axe planning to cover water conservation, transportation fuel efficiency, and waste reduction. Participants will also receive mid-year progress reports so that they can see exactly- how much they have saved since beginning the program. We just recently began the planning process fox Project Conserve Phase III. We axe looking to expand the program into apartments and businesses. The next phase of the project is currently scheduled to start in September 2011.
