(Please see attached item A for quote and components). The system he suggested for the arena is a wireless system that has contacts that signal the main controller when the contact is broken. Steve and I went through the building ensuring that the signal was strong from the controller to all of the openings where the contacts will be placed. It is my recommendation that we purchase the security system from Elk River Municipal Utilities. I would also recommend that we use Elk River Municipal Utilities for monitoring the fire alarm and the security system. (See the bottom of attached item A for the monitoring fee). If you have any further questions, please feel free to call me. In addition, 90 days is a more reasonable time for the residents to move after purchase agreements are signed, rather than the 60 days stated in the March 17, 1997 ordinance. Please consider our request, amending the existing ordinance. As the council members are aware, the residents of Hohlen's park have been long-suffering close to a year now with this fiasco. Sincerely, ~ //
