Motion to appoint a new Library Board member to fulfill the unexpired term to December 31, 2012.
BACKGROUND/DISCUSSION
Michael Hangaard has submitted his resignation from the Library Board effective immediately. Mr.
Hangaard has accepted full-time employment which will conflict with the Library Board meeting
schedule.
There are two applications on file for the Library Board: Mary Eberley and Nicole Novotny. As the
Council may recall, Ms. Eberley and Ms. Novotny were interviewed in February but were not appointed
at that time.
The Library Board is a Mayoral appointment with approval from the Council.
