SAC Charges for Historic Downtown
The purpose of this agenda item is to formally adopt an ordinance to allow a
reformulation of the method of calculating SAC charges for restaurants
within Historic Downtown. As you may recall, this issue was brought before
the Council in concept form at a previous Council meeting. It was discussed,
reviewed, and approved by the Council at that time. This issue appears
before the Council at this time in an identical form to which it was previously
discussed. Upon approval and publishing of the attached ordinance
amendment, the new method for calculating SAC charges for restaurants
within the Historic Downtown area will be established.
